Title IX Training
(for returning undergraduate students and graduate students)
Clemson is committed to providing a campus environment that is free from sexual discrimination. Because we are all responsible for the safety of our community, all students, faculty, staff and administrators are encouraged to complete an online Title IX training course. Think About It is an interactive web-based course that helps educate students about healthy relationships, sexual assault, alcohol use, policies, procedures and resources. We are happy to report that over 86% of our incoming freshmen, Bridge and transfer students have already completed the course assigned to them. While it is not a required, we strongly encourage all returning students (undergraduate and graduate) to take the course.
Over the summer faculty, administrators, staff and graduate assistants also completed a course, EDU: Eliminate Campus Sexual Violence. This course educates employees on the university’s policies, procedures and resources available to assist students and others who may report incidents of sex discrimination to include various forms of sexual harassment and misconduct. We are happy to report that 85% of our employees have completed their assignment.
Undergraduate students who have taken Think About It or Graduate Assistants who have taken EDU: Eliminate Campus Sexual Violence do not need to take the current course offering. Click here to access the course, login with your Clemson login, and take the course you are assigned. The course will save your progress if you need to leave and come back to it. We ask students to complete the course by November 15. We hope all students will find the course helpful in making healthy, safe choices while at Clemson!
