Curriculum Vitae


 

Ellory is a Principal Lecturer of Spanish from Hilton Head Island, SC. She earned an MA in Spanish from the University of South Carolina where her thesis work was on the role of women in the Spanish surrealist movement. She taught Beginning and Intermediate Spanish at Clemson for 4 years and returned in 2017 after a 2-year hiatus. Ellory coordinates Spanish 2010 and advises students in the Language and International Health and Modern Language Spanish programs. Previously, she advised Language and International Business Spanish majors, led a study abroad to Ecuador, and coordinated the Latinx & Hispanic Film Series and Spanish 2020. In Summer 2022, Ellory led the Clemson Language Immersion Program (CLIP) in Granada, Spain, and to Salamanca, Spain, in Summer 2024. As of Fall 2022, she serves as the Director of the Language and International Health Program and Faculty-in-Residence for the Mickel and Gressette communities. In Fall 2024, she launched Passport LLC (Living Learning Community) for first year students interested in exploring languages and cultures from around the world.
