  • ACCE Accreditation

    The Nieri Department of Construction and Real Estate Development faculty and staff use information obtained through the program and course-level assessment mechanisms and perception surveys to continuously evaluate and improve the quality of the program curriculum and operations. Modifications are made only after careful consideration of data is obtained from all constituencies, including students, employers, alumni, advisory board members, and faculty.

    Our undergraduate and graduate programs are accredited by the American Council for Construction Education.

  • Change Your Major to CSM

    Students wishing to be considered to change their major into Construction Science and Management must:

    1. Have at least 30 semester credit hours with a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0. Students will be selected based on their cumulative grade point average and the number of spaces available.

    2. Have successfully completed English 1030; Physics 2070/2090; and the mathematics requirement (1060 or 1020) by the end of the Spring semester of the year requesting change of major into the department.

    3. Submit the Change of Major Request Form

  • Approval of Credits to Be Earned at Another School

    To receive credit at Clemson University for courses completed at other regionally accredited colleges, Clemson students should:

    1. Secure approval in advance for each subject to be taken

    2. Earn a grade of C or higher

    Courses graded Pass (P) or Satisfactory (S) must also be equivalent to a C or higher performance and explicitly written in the academic policy of the other institution. In addition, Clemson University reserves the right to refuse credit if the credit load taken by the student is excessive for the period attended.
