Shaw’s thesis is on Martin Luther’s theological writings and his influence on Protestants in Nazi Germany. He examines Martin Luther’s writings in which he expresses anti-Judaic beliefs and how German Protestants in the Nazi era responded to these writings, particularly the anti-Nazi Confessing Church and the Pro-Nazi German Christian movement. Shaw was a Teacher’s Assistant for Dr. Terry’s World Regional Geography and Dr. Jeffries’ Early U.S. class. Shaw also attended Clemson University for his Bachelor’s degree in History and minored in Geography and Religion.
