Drew Ziemba, a trumpeter from Augusta, Georgia, earned a bachelor’s degree from Georgia Southern University and a master’s degree from the College-Conservatory of Music at the University of Cincinnati. While pursuing a doctoral degree at the University of Colorado Boulder, he won the Associate Principal Trumpet position in the Boise Philharmonic. While living in Idaho, Mr. Ziemba maintained a robust trumpet studio and taught at the College of Idaho. In 2022, he moved to South Carolina, and in the fall of 2023, he became the Instructor of Trumpet at Clemson University. In addition to performing with the Boise Philharmonic, he has performed with the Alabama Symphony Orchestra, Colorado Symphony Orchestra, Columbus (GA) Symphony Orchestra, Greenville Symphony Orchestra, Hilton Head Symphony Orchestra, Macon Symphony Orchestra, McCall Music Festival, and the Symphony Orchestra Augusta. His primary teachers include Justin Bartels, Tom Booth, Phil Collins, Bill Schmid, and Alan Siebert.
