Dillip Kumar Mishra (S’15, M’22, SM’24) holds a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology Sydney. Following the completion of his postdoctoral fellowship, he currently serves as a Research Assistant Professor in the Department of Mechanical and Automotive Engineering at Clemson University. Dr. Mishra’s research expertise spans power system stability and control, renewable energy systems, power system resiliency, microgrids, electric vehicles, and battery technologies. He has authored over fifty research papers published in prestigious international journals and conferences, in addition to contributing to two books.
Mishra is actively involved in professional organizations, serving as Chair of the IEEE Young Professionals in the Piedmont Section, USA, and Vice-Chair of the IEEE Consumer Technology Society. He also holds editorial roles as an editor or guest editor for several leading journals, including the Journal of Electrical and Computer Engineering (Wiley), E-Prime - Advances in Electrical Engineering, Electronics and Energy (Elsevier), Electrical Engineering (Springer Nature), Frontiers in Energy Research, and IEEE Transactions on Consumer Electronics.
With over 11 years of combined experience in industry, academia, and research, Mishra brings a unique blend of practical and theoretical expertise to his work, making significant contributions to the fields of electrical and energy engineering.
