Research
Artificial intelligence and machine learning have drawn tremendous attention in recent years due to their capacity of tackling some of the world’s most challenging problems. However, the concerns are growing that artificial intelligence and machine learning are potentially violating fairness, privacy, transparency, etc. Dr. Wu’s research group at Clemson works on achieving fairness, trustworthiness, and transparency in machine learning and artificial intelligence systems using causal inference.
