WISER Residence Community

WISER is open to sophomores majoring in engineering (CECAS) or science (CoS). The purpose of the program is to give students a network and support system that encourages retention within their STEM major. Studies have shown that living-learning communities strengthen students' ability to build community and leadership opportunities.

The WISER LLC provides an opportunity to thrive together. Residents receive professional development sessions, resulting in a completed professional leadership portfolio as well as opportunities to participate in social and community activities as they pursue their STEM degrees. WISER is located in Douthit Hills West, Building B. For more information, visit us at 158 Freeman Hall from 8 am to 4:30 pm.
