Eric Daniels

EmailEric Daniels, Ph.D., is Assistant Director of the SISC. He holds a B.A. in History and Rhetoric from Drake University and an M.A. and Ph.D. in American History from the University of Wisconsin-Madison. Prior to joining the SISC, Daniels served as the Head of School at LePort Montessori, a private school in Southern California. He has taught at the Program on Values and Ethics in the Marketplace at Duke University, where he was nominated for a teaching award, as well as at The Fund for American Studies Institute on Business and Government Affairs at Georgetown University. From 2006-2013, Daniels also served as an Assistant Research Professor and Assistant Director of the SISC.
Daniels maintains research interests in the history of capitalism, American legal history, and the history of American thought. He has published on the history of individualism in American thought, monopolies and antitrust, and American political history.
