Craig Davis
Craig Davis is a part-time lecturer for the Erwin Center during the summer sessions. He has held account management, account strategy, and interactive and integrated roles for agencies such as Dentsu Corporation of America, Arnold Worldwide and Saatchi & Saatchi in New York City. As an advertising professional, he has managed communication programs (traditional and digital) for high-profile companies such as Procter and Gamble, GlaxoSmithKline, Avaya, Canon, Pay-by-Touch and Hershey.
He is a West Virginia University graduate who received a bachelor's degree in both journalism and business, and a master's degree in Corporate Communication from Duquesne University. He is completing his doctorate degree.
As a professor, he has written three industry textbooks: "The New Account Manager," "The Account Management Workshop" and "The Media Strategy and Planning Workbook." Davis views himself as a "pracademic" because he enjoys sharing his real-world experience while conveying academic knowledge to the next generation of students often using the case-study teaching method.
