Prove your hay is the best!
Participate in the Southeastern Hay Contest and showcase your high-quality hay or baleage for a chance to win great prizes and recognition.
Top-quality hay and baleage samples will be awarded a prize in one of the seven categories (warm-season perennial grass hay, alfalfa hay, perennial peanut hay, cool-season perennial grass hay, mixed/annual grass/other hay, grass baleage and legume baleage). Then, the grand prize is the use of a new Massey Ferguson RK Series rotary rake or a Professional Series disc mower for the next growing season and a cash prize!
Don`t miss the entry deadline! Submissions are due September 1, 2023. Context winners will be notified by October 1, 2023, and the prizes will be delivered at the Sunbelt Ag Expo. Consult your local Extension agent for help in submitting samples.
