The South Carolina New and Beginning Farmer Program (SCNBFP) is now accepting applications for the 2023 - 2024 Advanced Level 3 Program!
The 2023 - 2024 Advanced Level 3 Program is a new certificate program for 2023 and offers a higher level of instruction for those who are still relatively new to farming but are looking to further their education in key areas of agribusiness and production. The Advanced Level 3 Program offers 20 full-day workshops and is designed so that qualified participants may choose whatever SCNBFP Advanced Workshops best suit their individual needs.

2023-2024 Advanced Level 3 Program Snapshot
- No up-front tuition fee: pay for only the workshops you choose!
- Rebate for 8! Level 3 Program enrollees who take a minimum of 8 workshops will receive a partial rebate for every workshop they attend. Save 30 – 60% on each workshop!
- Choose from 20 agribusiness and production focused workshops.
- Workshops will be held across SC between September 2023 – March 2024, many on-farm venues included! Some online options available!
- Certificate of Completion for those who meet graduation requirements.
- All workshops available on an individual basis to those not enrolled in Advanced Level 3 Program.
- Who May Apply: Any current resident of SC, age 18 or older who has been actively farming for 3 to 10 years.

Step 1. Carefully review the 2023 - 2024 Advanced Level 3 Program Outline and the 2023 - 2024 Advanced Level 3 Course Description.
Step 2: Still have more questions? Attend a virtual open house! SCNBFP staff will hold a two Zoom open houses to answer any questions you may have. Session dates and times are below:

Step 3: Click here to apply online. No paper applications are available; you must apply online. The deadline to apply is 11:59 PM, August 13, 2023. Feel free to review the application questions but do not hit "Submit" until after your application is complete. You will need to finish the application in one sitting.
