Leadership Circle at Clemson

At Clemson University, we have a clear vision for our future and how we plan to get there. As the dynamics of education and research create new opportunities for improvement, Clemson must have flexible dollars that can help us fulfill our mission and objectives as a University.

Support Clemson where the need is greatest.

Unrestricted gifts are vital to the success of Clemson University. Moreover, they allow resources to be directed to the most critical, promising and appropriate purposes in support of the University’s Clemson Elevate strategic plan. We need support for unrestricted funding in order to:

  • Help Clemson students receive an exceptional educational experience.
  • Enable Clemson students, faculty and staff to address real-world problems.
  • Ensure the state’s brightest students choose to attend Clemson University.
  • Increase the value of a Clemson degree for all alumni.
  • Foster economic development in South Carolina and beyond.

The Leadership Circle celebrates Clemson’s partnership with donors who build a tradition of giving $10,000 or more per year for this purpose. The gift may be designated to support the greatest needs of the following program areas:

  • President
  • Provost
  • Deans
  • Academic Colleges
  • Student Affairs
  • General University Operations

Membership in the Leadership Circle recognizes total unrestricted giving in a fiscal year, including corporate matching funds. As a member of the Leadership Circle, your investment matters in the lives of our students and in the prosperity of Clemson University. You will also receive an invitation to a special annual event hosted by the president; annual recognition in the Honor Roll of donors, the University’s annual summary of private giving; and invitations to Major Gift Club events.
