How their research is transforming health care

Research in women’s mental health and education related to women’s mental health is critically needed, given the prevalence of maternal mental health and its impact on health outcomes and maternal mortality. Medical education of psychiatric and women’s health providers leads to improved awareness, screening practices, and engagement with treatment for patients. Additionally, more research is needed into the screening practices of perinatal mood and anxiety disorders, and Dr. Hudepohl’s research aims to look at these important areas of intervention.News and media related to your research (this may duplicate what is on your CV) Scholarship in Teaching Award for “National Curriculum in Reproductive Psychiatry” 3/2019 Case Western Reserve University School of Medicine Awarded to the leadership committee of the National Curriculum in Reproductive Psychiatry for excellence in scholarship in education for the curriculum project.
