About

Jane M. DeLuca is an associated professor in the School of Nursing at Clemson University. She teaches genetics, research and Knowledge Development to nursing and Healthcare Genetics students. She has worked as a nurse practitioner in the field biochemical genetics caring for patients with inborn errors of metabolism for more than 20 years and at currently at the Greenwood Genetic Center DeLuca’s collaborative work with the Greenwood Genetics Center, Prisma Health, and Clemson faculty include research of newborn screening systems, developing at home monitoring methods for patients with phenylalanine hydroxylase deficiency and urea cycle disorders, and improving the care of children and families with rare disorders.
