How their research is transforming health care
Griffin’s work assesses the effectiveness of primary prevention or health management and understanding factors that influence intervention effectiveness, implementation, and adoption. The majority of Griffin’s work is in pediatrics; however, she is broadly focused on effectiveness and adoption of interventions that bring together the community, family, and clinical environment to improve health. Two of her current projects are community-based prevention efforts in predominately rural South Carolina.
