Kristin Scott is a professor in the Department of Management. She primarily has taught courses focusing in human resources management, such as Introduction to Human Resources and Advanced Topics in Human Resources. Her current research interests focus on employee health and wellbeing, rewards and motivation, group dynamics and dysfunctional organizational behavior.

How their research is transforming health care

Dr. Scott is working to improve well-being and turnover in critical care. To achieve this, she has research projects that explore how work breaks, leisure activities and organizational support systems facilitate healthcare workers’ physical and psychological wellbeing as well as commitment to the organization.
