Transportation
Arriving by Plane - Getting to the Hotel:
The closest airport is Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in Greer, S.C.
Individuals may also wish to fly into Charlotte-Douglas International Airport in Charlotte, N.C. or Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport in Atlanta, Ga. Both are located approximately two hours from of Clemson.
Arriving by Car:
Take I-85 to exit 19B. Exit toward Clemson University. Follow Highway 76/28 west for approximately 12 miles. Exit off Highway 76/28 onto Highway 93 south toward Clemson University. Weekday and weekend visitor parking availability differs, so be sure to plan accordingly when traveling to campus by car. Find your bearings with the Clemson Campus Map.
FAQ
What accommodations should I make if I plan to extend my stay?
- The host institution will book rooms on your behalf (and cover the cost) for both Wednesday and Thursday nights (March 20 and 21). You do not need to make a reservation for those nights. If you do not need one or more of those reserved nights, please let us know as soon as your plans are confirmed.
- For Tuesday or Friday nights: The conference begins at noon on Wednesday and ends at noon on Friday. If your travel plans require either a Tuesday night (3/19) or Friday night (3/22) stay, please make those reservations on your own.
Do you provide transportation to and from campus?
- Each participant is responsible for travel to and from the conference. The closest airport is Greenville-Spartanburg International Airport in Greer, SC. From there, you will need to reserve a rental car or request an Uber to Clemson. You can park at the hotel, and we will have shuttles to events during the conference.
