Industry Pilot Project Program
For the first two (2) sponsored projects to be funded by a for-profit company for an eligible applicant and approved by the Clemson University Industry Pilot Project Program review committee, indirect costs (Facilities and Administrative (F&A) Costs) will not be applied, and tuition remission (Graduate Assistant Differential (GAD)) will be waived. The budget for a project must be no more than $50,000 in total direct costs, exclusive of GAD, to be paid by the for-profit company sponsor and the project term must be no longer than one (1) year. Eligible applicants for this opportunity are tenured, tenure-track, or research faculty who have not had a sponsored project funded by a for-profit company in the current and three (3) immediately preceding fiscal years at Clemson.
