Concert Percussion
The Clemson University Concert Percussion Workshop will focus on fundamentals such as technique, touch, sticking, listening, balance, ensemble playing, and practice techniques. Scholars will gain hands-on experience playing instruments, culminating with rehearsing and performing a percussion ensemble piece the end of camp for parents, faculty, and staff.
Course Prerequisites: Percussion experience in high school band or orchestra is preferred. Reading music is required.
Course Supplies: Scholars should bring a practice pad and at least one pair of concert snare drum sticks.
