Environmental Engineering
Course Description
Environmental Engineering and Sciences is an interdisciplinary major and covers a broad range of subjects. In this introductory course, students will get to learn and explore topics such as water transport and treatment, air pollution control, solid waste control, and so on. The class will contain a combination of lectures, hands-on activities, lab activities, and local tours at Clemson University. The main objectives of this course are to introduce students to environmental engineering and see how it relates to real-world applications. After one week of studying, students will raise their awareness about environmental issues, increase their interests in becoming an environmental engineer, and recognize that they can use their own knowledge to make the world a better place.
Requirements
- Wear closed-toe shoes and long pants.
