Students can join these programs in addition to the majors and minors they are working on. By focusing on enhancing specific skills, like leadership, brand communications and sales, students gain authentic work experience and graduate with a competitive advantage in the workplace.

Our Signature Programs currently include the following:

  • Brand & Digital Marketing

Delivered through the Erwin Center for Brand Communications, the Brand & Digital Marketing Signature Program provides students with hands-on, experiential curriculum and branding experience through connections with industry professionals. In our student-led brand consulting agency, Cadency, students work with real clients on brand projects to produce strategic solutions in disciplines like advertising, consumer research, insights and media analytics.

  • Leadership

The Leadership Signature Program is an innovative, hands-on, heavily experiential program for undergraduate students to deliberately develop their leadership capabilities, while also contributing to others' development. LSP is organized as a student-led company with progressive leadership opportunities for students in all business majors and academic years and offers a distinctive leadership certificate.

  • Sales Innovation

The J. Daniel and Nancy Garrison Sales Innovation Program helps prepare students for a career in service, technical or medical device sales. With the integration of a hands-on learning curriculum that focuses on sales education and research, students who complete this program have a competitive edge when entering the workforce, with many students receiving starting salary premiums and multiple job offers.
