About Clemson Economic Trends
Clemson Economic Trends is a website hosted within the John E. Walker Department of Economics at Clemson University. The objective of the site is to provide timely information about South Carolina and national economic trends that will be useful for students, policymakers, businesses, and the broader community. We seek to conduct and publicize economic policy research that can help these groups better understand current economic events and the implications of economic policies. The pages on this site provide links to data that may be of interest on employment, income, prices and trade along with relevant posts about each topic.
The project will also provide students with research opportunities within the department that will train them with the skills to work with and present data used in economic policy research. By disseminating research and training students, the project will help provide important links between the John E. Walker Department of Economics at Clemson University and the business and policy communities in the state and across the nation. Follow us on Twitter @ClemEconTrends.
