How to Apply
CUBS exists to support first-year Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business Students. CUBS offers programs and services tailored to the following majors: Pre-Business (Management, Marketing, Financial Management, Accounting, Economics B.S.), Economics B.A. and Graphic Communications.
If you have a specific question about a major/discipline, please email Faith Diemer.
Please follow the steps below to sign up.
Step 1: Next Steps After Acceptance
Congratulations, and welcome to the Clemson Family! Before applying to be part of CUBS, you will need to complete a few next steps. Complete the New Student Checklist provided by the University Admissions Office, and be sure to check your official Clemson email for important information and updates.
Step 2: Sign-Up for Housing/Select CUBS as Your Community of Choice
Signing up for housing is a three-step process.
While going through the New Student Checklist, under "Apply for housing," you will select a Community of Choice. Select CUBS as your first choice. Only eligible majors can see CUBS as a Living-Learning Community choice on the Community of Choice page.
Note: Your admissions deposit must be paid before moving forward with your housing application. If you have just paid your admissions deposit today, it may take 24 hours before it is transmitted to the housing application.
View student housing sign-up information.
Step 3: Receive Your Housing Time Slot
After the housing application closes, time slots are provided to students who have completed their applications. Students who have selected the CUBS Living-Learning Community will receive a time slot (after June 16) to select a room in Douthit East Building E. Be diligent in checking your Clemson email - your time slot notification will be provided to you at your official Clemson email address.
Step 4: Select Your Room
Students interested in living in CUBS and participating in the CONNECTIONS program can email for more information.
