Laura Stoner serves as the Director of the Office of Land & Capital Asset Stewardship for Clemson University. She is responsible for working with University departments and outside consultants regarding the review and approval of all issues and decisions impacting land and capital assets owned by Clemson University and its affiliates. Ms. Stoner is also responsible for navigating the State processes related to leasing, acquisition, and disposition. She was instrumental in the transaction related to Greenville ONE which is the new 70,000 square foot home of Clemson’s MBA, Master of Real Estate Development, Master of Accountancy and other professional development programs. Previously, Ms. Stoner was the Director of Real Estate for the Clemson University Real Estate Foundation and the Clemson University Land Stewardship Foundation where she was responsible for the management of all properties donated to, owned, and held by the Foundations, including the CU-ICAR campus in Greenville, South Carolina. At the CU-ICAR campus, Ms. Stoner aided in securing grants totaling approximately $5,000,000 from the Economic Development Administration for the construction of two multi-tenant office and lab facilities totaling 139,000 square feet. Ms. Stoner graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Financial Management and also earned a Master’s Degree in Real Estate Development from Clemson University. She is a member of the Urban Land Institute, the Clemson University Advancement Board for Real Estate Development and is currently serving as President for the Clemson University Real Estate Alumni Society.
