Managing Principal, McMillan Pazdan Smith Architecture
Joe graduated from Clemson University in 1983 with degrees in Design and Building Science and Management. As a managing principal of McMillan Pazdan Smith, he directed firm operations, including oversight of project management, project delivery and fiscal performance. A practicing architect for over 30 years, Joe specialized in optimizing the capital investments of owners and developers in the retail, commercial and industrial sectors. He was an avid community supporter with service on numerous boards and committees. His particular interest was in sustainable land use and design principles. He served as the Upstate Vice Chair for the South Carolina chapter of the Urban Land Institute and was honored as an Entrepreneur of the Year by the Greenville Technical College Foundation.
