CAFLS Career Fair
September 18, 2024
Time: 1-5 PM
Madren Conference Center
Student Shuttle will be available from Poole Ag Center to Madren Center continuously during Career Fair time.
- Research the companies attending the fair. Check back for 2024 employers attending.
- Print multiple copies of your resume and have it ready to digitally share as well if needed (pdf is preferred)
- Bring a “nice” folder or padfolio to carry around with your resume copies and also to keep any handouts or business cards you receive
- Dress for success during the Career Fair. Business casual is acceptable, especially for freshman and sophomores. Juniors and Seniors, you may choose to dress to impress and wear your professional suit. First impressions do make a difference. You will want to have professional dress ready also for any after fair interviews. Clemson has a Career Closet to help with these outfits if you are not able to obtain professional clothing!

BEFORE Career Fair:

The Career fair is over, what’s next?
AFTER the Fair
- If you have contact information from a company, send them an email. Reintroduce yourself and make sure to thank them for their time. If you took any notes, it is beneficial to include something you discussed and enjoyed about the conversation. Let them know that you are interested in the company and potential working opportunities.
- Take the next steps the recruiter suggested, that may mean applying online or uploading your resume to their website.
- Stay engaged, stay confident, and stay positive! You got this and we are here to help!
