Ling Rao got her Ph.D. degree in Comparative Literature at the University of Georgia, and has been teaching all levels of Chinese, Asian American Literature and Western World Literature there for six years and a half. She joined Clemson in 2016. Her research interest includes late-imperial Chinese drama such as Tang Xianzu’s works, Chinese philosophical and religious traditions, Shakespearean drama.
