Dr. Rash has an extensive background in choral teaching and conducting at both university and high school levels. He was the vocal music director for several Clemson Players Broadway musical productions including "The Music Man," "Carousel," "South Pacific" and "A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum." Dr. Rash played an integral role in the design of music facilities in the Brooks Center for the Performing Arts. He was promoted to full professor in 2000.
