Emily Cole is a MA student in History at Clemson University. She recently graduated from Shepherd University. She is currently a teaching assistant in the History department. Much of Emily's undergraduate research focused on women in premodern Europe and early Colonial Maryland. Recently her research interests have changed to looking at how legal records can help us better understand the everyday person's life in late medieval to early modern British Isles.
