Hallie Knipp is a Digital History PhD student studying labor conflicts in late the 19th and early 20th century United States with a focus on the Appalachian region. She received her MA in English from Marshall University in 2020, where she focused on Southern & Appalachian Literature and equitable pedagogies. She is currently a research graduate assistant with the Clemson Statewide Gravesites Project and a senior intern for Movable: Narratives of Recovery and Place.
