Degree Programs

Students in the Department of Parks, Recreation and Tourism Management (PRTM) learn how to manage recreational activities, take an active role in the environment, use recreation as a therapeutic intervention, and perform scientific studies on leisure, tourism and recreation and its effects on local, regional and national economies. 

You choose the learning track that meets your undergraduate degree interest:

• Sport and Recreation Management
• Parks and Outdoor Recreation
• Recreational Therapy
• Tourism and Event Management

You can also add a minor to your current major by studying Non-Profit Leadership, Park and Conservation Area Management, Travel and Tourism, and Youth Development Studies.
