Educational BackgroundBS Nursing | ProfileShannon Burkhalter, RN, BSN started her nursing career as a nurse resident working on the Pediatric Bone Marrow Transplant Unit at Duke University Hospital. Her interest in oncology/BMT stemmed from serving as Recruitment Chairperson of the St. Jude Up 'til Dawn Executive Board at Clemson University and serving as camp staff at Camp Courage: Camp for pediatric hematology/oncology patients. She currently fulfills the role of Clinical Lab Manager of the CU Nursing Building in Greenville, SC. This role involves managing the simulation lab space and activities for Clemson University Nursing students as well as working alongside Prisma- Upstate Sim Center to bring new interprofessional experiences to Clemson Nursing students. |
