Dr. Yiqiang Han joined the Mechanical Engineering Department in 2016. Dr. Han finished his PhD program from the Department of Aerospace Engineering at the Pennsylvania State University. Before transitioning to Clemson University, he was a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Vertical Lift Research Center of Excellence at Penn State. His primary research focuses on Distributed Optimization and Machine Learning. Dr. Han is also specialized in data-driven analytical tools to help operate complex cyber-physical systems in a resilient and sustainable manner. Dr. Han is an active member of AIAA ASE Technical Committee, ASME, ASEE, and VFS.
