Gang Li joined the Department in 2006 after working as a Research Scientist in the Beckman Institute for Advance Science and Technology at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He was a mechanical engineer at Volkswagen China in 1996. He is a member of ASME and IEEE.
