Program Coordinators – Courtney Kucera and Mary Kathryn “Katie” Burdette
- Third graders from Crosswell Elementary School from Mrs. Ann Burdett’s Science Classes will come visit the Advanced Materials Research Laboratories (AMRL) at Clemson University’s Research Park to get children excited and interested about science by giving hands on real-life demonstrations.
- These students will have the opportunity to work with graduate students and staff on investigating insects with electron microscopes, exploring phases of matter and traveling through the world of optics.
- This field trip includes:
- Lunch from Friends Catering (Townville, SC)
- Commemorative t-shirts
- 4 – 1 hour stations with complete hands on activities
