Our week-long immersive experience provides opportunities for college upperclassmen to engage with professionals in the field of marketing, advertising and communication. Our students will gain hands-on experience in a brand communication project that they can add to their portfolio - all while enjoying an all-expenses-paid opportunity to learn, grow, and explore the world of public relations, advertising, marketing and communication. The goal of the program seeks to aid in building a more inclusive and diverse workforce in the world of brand communications in each area and level of the agency or brand. This week-long camp involves multiple opportunities for hands-on and personalized professional development, mentorship, and awareness of career opportunities in the brand communications realm. During the week-long camp, students will work on a project that they will present at the end of the week to a board of judges who then will select the top presentations. Each scholar is allowed to invite guests to the culminating banquet, which will be held in Greenville, SC at the headquarters of one of our Summer Scholars sponsors - Endeavor, in the heart of downtown Greenville. All students completing the camp will receive a scholarship stipend at the end of the week during our keynote banquet. View the 2019 Summer Scholars Program Booklet for more information.
