The Question Project is a national program fostered by the Association for Practical and Professional Ethics (APPE). The project focuses on supporting faculty and teaching students the art of asking good questions and how to engage in conversation and providing a space for collegial dialogue to enhance and encourage the power of curiosity.

Here at Clemson, as one of the postsecondary institutions involved in leading efforts around The Question Project, we have two primary aims:

(1)   Developing strategies for creating classrooms that foster open inquiry and cultivate curiosity.

(2)   Encouraging discussion paradigms that reflect epistemic humility and enhance civil discourse.

In Spring 2024, we offered the first workshop for faculty focused on these aims, and we are planning to offer another workshop in Spring 2025. Stay tuned for more information. If you have any questions about The Question Project initiative please contact Dr. McCoy at wmccoy@clemson.edu or Dr. Rapa at lrapa@clemson.edu.
