Eller Case Competition Team
About Our Case Competition Team
Each year the Rutland Institute for Ethics prepares students to compete in the International Collegiate Ethics Case Competition organized by the Eller College of Management at the University of Arizona. The competition requires student teams to collaboratively analyze, research, and present a solution to a complex ethical dilemma. Students compete with teams from various institutions from around the world to offer creative and practical solutions to a critical issue facing the world today.
Through the process, students will:
- Develop critical-thinking skills for complex issues that require an in-depth analysis of legal, financial, and philosophical implications.
- Evaluate ethical perspectives of multiple stakeholder entities and engage at least one Clemson University approved ethical framework to determine the most effective course of action.
- Cultivate integrative, multidisciplinary research skills that transcend individual areas of study.
- Produce creative oral and visual presentations to present an ethical solution that addresses a pressing global dilemma.
Congratulations to our 2023 Eller Case Competition Team for taking 1st place!
