Important Information
This year the CEPSCI team in partnership with South Carolina Department of Transportation (SCDOT) will provide training focusing on material specific to the Transportation NPDES Construction General Permit (SCR160000).
SCDOT certification will consist of one day of class and a certification exam the following morning. Those seeking certification must attend day 1 and pass the corresponding exam. Personnel seeking recertification, are required to complete a series of professional development online training modules.
This series of classes is limited to SCDOT employees and others working with the SCDOT.

SCDOT Class Registration
Online registration is available by request only. All others, please follow the directions below.
Email the CEPSCI program for registration (include the following information):
- Class date (CEPSCI number for recertification)
- Registrant's first and last name
- Mailing address
- Registrants email
- SCDOT employee number and district
- Driver’s license number
A registration confirmation will be sent by email.
Registration must be in a timely manner prior to the class date to ensure a seat and materials.

SCDOT Payment and Fees
- SCDOT certification class, exam and materials - $395.00
- SCDOT recertification class and materials - $275.00
- SCDOT technical class only - $345.00
- SCDOT retest - $35
The technical class is intended for those persons seeking to obtain knowledge concerning erosion prevention, sediment control, and other specifics relating to work site compliance under SCR160000. Attendees under this designation will not become certified through the program or receive a CEPSCI card. PDH certificates are available upon request.
One invoice will be sent to the Columbia SCDOT headquarters office at the conclusion of each class. As requested, the invoice will contain all registration information above.

Cancellation Policy (SCDOT Contractors and Consultants)
- If you cancel your registration more than 48 hours before a class, your registration fee will be refunded, less a $35 processing fee.
- You may substitute a participant, provided that you inform us of the substitute’s name no later than 24 hours before an event.
- If you do not cancel before the 48-hour deadline your registration fee will not be refunded.
- No-shows have the option of paying $100 to re-register and reschedule for an alternate class date. This must be done within 1 month of the original class date.
- No-shows will not have their registration or re-registration fee refunded.
