How to Participate
Attend a Staff Senate Monthly Meeting
The Staff Senate uses a Zoom webinar platform for our Full Senate meetings. Links and
additional details are available on our Staff Senate website and the University calendar.
We encourage you to join us in person, but we realize accessibility is a factor for some
attendees.
We invite all Clemson University staff, faculty and students to attend our meetings.
Other than Staff Senators, attendees are only eligible to speak during the “Open
Commentary” section at the start of the monthly meetings. Registration is required if
you’d like to participate during the open commentary period. We do not permit Senators
and guests to comment or engage with a speaker during this period.
If you would like to join our meetings via Zoom, visit the University calendar where you
can view the event information and add it to your Clemson Outlook calendar.
Please note we will no longer send individual Outlook invitations to attendees not
currently serving as senators or guests invited to present at the meeting.
Directions for adding our meetings to your calendar
If you want to add Staff Senate meetings to your Outlook calendar, please go to the University Calendar link and find the “Subscribe” heading toward the bottom of the page. To add this meeting to your Clemson Outlook calendar, click the calendar or the clock icon. Both will download an “iCalendar” event. You must open this file from your browser downloads and then “Save & Close” the meeting it generates.
Minutes
Meetings take place on the second Tuesday of every month.
*NOTE: We do not have Full Senate meetings in April, July, or November.
Minutes will be available after being approved in the month following the meeting date (i.e. January minutes are approved at the February meeting and posted the day after.) To request meeting minutes from previous terms, please email us at staffsenate@clemson.edu.

Staff Senate Blood Drives
Staff Senate organizes multiple blood drives on campus in collaboration with The Blood Connection each year. We encourage students, faculty and staff to stop by The Blood Connection’s bus on campus, donate blood and save lives in Upstate, South Carolina, while earning $20 to $60 in rewards. There is a real need for blood in our area, and we are grateful for the opportunity to protect patients in our local community by meeting that need.
