Giving to Global Engagement
Why Give?
Your donation to support Global Engagement at Clemson is an investment in preparing our students for success in the global economy and the attention of our scholars and students to addressing the global challenges facing society in the 21st century.
The U.S. Department of Commerce reports that direct foreign investment accounts for about 127,500 jobs in South Carolina. That is as many as 8.4 percent of the state’s private industry employment. Our graduates need to contribute to and succeed in this globalizing workforce. Your support will help our students learn languages, gain intercultural skills and experience, and learn how their fields are organized and practiced around the world. Our goal is to educate global leaders in industry, commerce and science.
Support us as we address Grand Challenges. Whether the focus is water and energy, public health and education, poverty and food access, or violence and state security, the grand challenges of the 21st century are all global. They impact us all, and solutions are unlikely without the collaboration of the world’s scientists and leaders. Your support will help our students and scholars to work collaboratively with peers across the globe to explore solutions to the challenges that plague us here at home and others around the world. You can help us bring scholars here and build the networks and infrastructure to facilitate collaboration.
Understanding international issues is no longer a luxury but a necessity. Help our students to make the world a better place!
Your support can help:
- Students to study, intern or perform service abroad.
- Provide training in foreign languages and intercultural skills.
- Encourage top international students and faculty to come to Clemson.
- Sustain international research and community service projects.
- Expand global learning across all colleges and fields of study.
Thank you for your investment in the global future of Clemson students.
