Discontinuance is not an immediate process. State regulations require that registrations must be supported for at least two years, within the discontinuance registration process, to complete the channels of trade. South Carolina registrations must be supported for at least two years after the last date of Federal registration, the cessation of manufacturing, or the last date of distribution of the product into South Carolina.
All changes to discontinuance should be requested, in writing, by email to Pest Products.
25b Products - Products that meet the EPA's criteria for exemption are required to be registered in South Carolina. All online registration procedures and fees are required for 25b products.
Technical Grade, Formulation Only, and Manufacturing Use Only Products – Classified products do not have to be registered, unless they bear an EPA Registration Number, are shipped into or through the state of South Carolina, or have actual use directions for application of the product.
