Profile/About Me
As the online and print coordinator, I update and expand the College of Science website, design a variety of print materials, take photographs and occasionally write or edit stories. Previously, I was custom publications editor for The Greenville News, where I was responsible for a team that produced nondaily and supplemental content for the newspaper, as well as two monthly magazines, including Upstate Parent and TALK. I wrote a weekly wine-focused column for the newspaper, and wrote and photographed special features. I have consulted with newspapers and commercial printers and offered training and guidance on writing, design, photography and technology. I have won awards from the South Carolina Press Association and the Parent Media Association for writing and design, and am a member of Professional Photographers of America.
Responsibilities
Updating and expanding the College of Science website; designing print materials, including brochures, flyers, mailers and other collateral; producing support and promotional for items for events; photographing faculty, students and staff as needed for the College.
