Educational Background

Ph.D., Biology, Massachusetts Institute of Technology, 2013
B.S., Biology, University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, 2007

Research Interests

The Rosowski lab investigates host-pathogen interactions and the innate immune response to infections using the larval zebrafish host model. Cutting-edge imaging and genetic methods allow us to define the role of specific cell types and pathways in immune system function. We are currently interested in how macrophages and neutrophils recognize and kill the fungal pathogen Aspergillus fumigatus.

Courses Taught

MICR/BIOL 4140 - Basic Immunology
MICR/BIOL 4930 - Senior Seminar
MICR 8010 - Concepts in Microbiology II
