Research Interests
I have a research background in Plant Pathology, focusing on host-parasite interactions between plant roots and plant parasitic nematodes. Currently, my interests are in undergraduate biology education. I work with first year to graduate students in classes ranging from introductory biology to upper-level courses and labs in plant biology. I am always looking for ways to bring in effective evidence-based instructional strategies into all of my course. I also enjoy mentoring my graduate teaching assistants and helping in their professional development.
