Profile/About Me
My research interests include (1) understanding the neurogenomics of learning and memory in songbirds like zebra finches, (2) investigating neurodevelopment of songbirds when exposed to vocal signals called “heat calls” under high temperatures, and (3) exploring the role of science communication and professional development to foster interdisciplinary development in graduate school. Outside of science, I enjoy clemson sports, birdwatching, podcasting (check out "Breaking Silos" https://anchor.fm/interdisciplinarysilos) and doing outreach with my local church.
