On this page, you can find community agency resources that are local to the Clemson Area. Each resource is sorted by areas of need and provides a short description of the organization and a link to their website.

Food Security
- Clemson Community Care: CCC works in cooperation with local religious, civic, educational, and private agencies to support low-income families and individuals by helping them overcome periods of financial crisis.
- Feed a Hungry Child of Pickens County: The program is a project of Golden Harvest Food Bank and Feeding America. They provides children with meals to take home on Fridays for the weekend.
- Meals on Wheels Anderson: The mission of MoW is to deliver meals to the disabled or elderly homebound in Anderson County.
- Meals on Wheels Pickens: The mission of MoW is to deliver meals to the disabled or elderly homebound in Pickens County.
- Our Daily Bread: Our Daily Bread serves approximately 130 meals Monday – Friday.
- Society of St. Andrew: The Society of St. Andrew brings people together to harvest and share healthy food, reduce food waste, and build caring communities by offering nourishment to hungry neighbors.
- United Christian Ministries: UCM provides services to persons in crisis to meet their basic needs.
- Oconee Cultivation Project: The Oconee Cultivation Project (OCP) provides young people with opportunities to develop skills through mentorship and education in sustainable agriculture, culinary practices, and local food production.
- Feed and Seed Co.: Through networks, programs, and facilities, Feed & Seed Co. strives to improve the health and well-being of all citizens by increasing access to nourishing local foods and establishing a truly sustainable food system built on profitable farms and independent markets.
- Good Neighbor Cupboard: The Good Neighbor Cupboard is committed to providing food relief to those without direct access or funding for nutritious food in Anderson SC, through sustained donation efforts from the community.

Health Services
- Anderson Free Clinic: Anderson free clinic provides health care information, dental and medical care to persons who do not have private insurance, Medicare, Medicaid, or VA. Their vision is that everyone in Anderson County can access quality essential primary health care, regardless of their ability to pay.
- Caris Healthcare: Caris is a hospice care group that believes all patients and their families deserve the best care and treatment throughout their time with Caris.
- Clemson Downs: Clemson Downs is Clemson’s only privately owned continuing care retirement community. They offer multiple care options from Independent Living apartments to Skilled Health Care.
- Hands of Mercy Hospice: A locally owned and operated end-of-life care group. Volunteers can expect to do activities such as building a ramp or going to an activity in the community with patients.
- MSA Hospice and Home Health: Medical Services of America is a comprehensive home healthcare provider.

Art and Culture
- Arts Center of Clemson: The Arts Center is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization established for the purpose of bringing the arts to all members of the community through educational art programming, children’s art programs and community art development.
- Clemson Little Theatre: The Clemson Little Theatre is one of the oldest community theatres in South Carolina. Since 1992, CLT has made its home in its own theatre, the Pendleton Playhouse in historic Pendleton, SC.
- Oconee County Democratic Party: OCDP is a volunteer political organization that promotes fairness, equality and opportunity for the people of Oconee County.
- Pendleton Historic Foundation: The Pendleton Historic Foundation was founded in 1960s and is dedicated to the restoration and preservation of historic properties in Pendleton and the interpretation of the diverse history and cultural heritage of the area.
- Clemson Area African American Museum: CAAAM is one of the leading cultural institutions and the only museum in Pickens County devoted to local African American history. Located in what was once the Calhoun Colored School the mission is to focus on stories rooted in people, places and traditions that provide enduring lessons.

Youth Education and Development
- Camp Spearhead: Camp Spearhead offers 8 week-long residential camp sessions in the summer and the Weekend Program throughout the school year for those with intellectual disabilities.
- Clemson Child Development Center: CCDC is a 501C(3) organization. CCDC accepts children for pre-school education from six week through four year kindergarten age and is open weekdays from 7 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Collins Children’s Home: Collins Home provides care to needy children and families through residential home care, counseling and family outreach services. Children ages birth to 21 come to the home and are provided education, counseling, medical care and spiritual enrichment.
- Foothills Area YMCA: The Foothills YMCA is chartered to serve all of Oconee County as well as Clemson and Central. It is unique in that it is solely based on programs, currently operating as a non-facility YMCA.
- Helping Hands of Clemson: Helping Hands is a group home for abused and neglected children from across the upstate of South Carolina.
- Littlejohn Community Center: The Littlejohn Community Center is a facility where citizens of the city of Clemson can enhance the quality of community life and promote life-long learning; individual, family, neighborhood, and community growth; social, physical, and cultural development.
- Sharing Inc: Sharing Inc. is a grassroots 501 c (3) non-profit charity whose mission is to provide youth at risk with life changing values and guidance through a SHARING of community resources.
- Tamassee DAR School: Tamassee DAR School is a private non-profit children’s home and family service organization offering multi-faceted programs to serve children and families in need. We believe that education is the key to success.
- Foothills Care Center: Foothills Care Center provides hope, healing, & help to families in need through medical and educational services.
- The Parenting Place: The Parenting Place promotes positive parenting by providing services, resources, support, and aims to end the cycle of abuse and neglect in upstate SC.

Animal and Environmental Services
- Crossroads Animal Rescue: Crossroads Animal Hospital is a non-profit organization in Seneca, SC. Their goal is to decrease pet euthanasia rates in Oconee County.
- Greenville County Parks and Recreation: Greenville Co. Parks and Rec’s mission is be a leader in providing diverse, dynamic, ever-improving recreation opportunities in a sustainable manner. They own parks, provide sports and events, as well as programming for a variety of ages.

Housing Assistance
- Our Daily Rest: Our Daily Rest is Oconee County's only homeless shelter that serves men, women, and families who are ready to work their way to self-sufficiency and independence.
- Pickens County Habitat for Humanity: Habitat’s vision is of a world where everyone has a decent place to live. Habitat works toward this vision by building and improving homes in partnership with individuals and families in need of a decent and affordable place to live.
- Rebuild Upstate: Rebuild Upstate exclusively repairs and improves existing homes. We serve children, families, and seniors in Anderson, Greenville, Oconee, and Pickens Counties of Upstate South Carolina.

Crisis Services
- AIM: Accept. Inspire. Minister: AIM is an efficient non-profit organization that meets the needs of struggling individuals and families in Anderson County. AIM was founded to eliminate the duplication of assistance to those in need. AIM has stabilized the community and continued to do so using its hand up, not hand out, philosophy.
- Clemson Community Care: CCC works in cooperation with local religious, civic, educational, and private agencies to support low-income families and individuals by helping them overcome periods of financial crisis.
- Mental Health America of Greenville County: Mental Health America of Greenville County positively impacts mental health through advocacy, awareness, and service.
- Our Daily Rest: Our Daily Rest is Oconee County's only homeless shelter that serves men, women, and families who are ready to work their way to self-sufficiency and independence.
- Ripple of One: The vision of Ripple of One is to transform generational poverty into generational progress one family at a time
- Safe Harbor: Safe Harbor’s mission is to provide a continuum of services for victims of domestic violence and their children and to eliminate cultural acceptance of domestic violence through a coordinated community response, prevention and education.
- United Christian Ministries: UCM provides services to persons in crisis to meet their basic needs.
- United Way of Anderson County: UW of Anderson’s mission is to improve our community by providing leadership in identifying needs, securing & leveraging resources and driving action.
- United Way of Pickens County: United Way is about advancing the common good by creating opportunities for a better life for all.
