Experiential Learning

About Us

Experiential Learning (ExL) is a critical component in Clemson University’s Quality Enhancement Plan (QEP), which was launched in 2023 to help improve student learning and success.

Our mission is to elevate the student’s academic experience through access to quality Experiential Learning opportunities.

In an effort to help Clemson Deliver the No. 1 student experience, CU-ExL aims to empower our campus stakeholders in providing ExL opportunities for 100 percent of our undergraduate students. As a result of these experiences, 100 percent of our undergraduate students will feel prepared and competitive in the context of their post-graduation plans.

Our endeavors support each of the three pillars in Clemson’s strategic plan, Clemson Elevate, as we facilitate life-changing learning experiences for current students, increase opportunities to participate in research and support the faculty and students whose endeavors change lives in South Carolina and beyond.
