About the Center
Located in the heart of the Clemson campus, the Academic Success Center (ASC) offers a variety of free services for undergraduate students. These services are designed to empower you to discover and develop the skills, mindset and habits that you can use to:
- Become a more confident, skillful and resourceful learner.
- Succeed in foundational courses.
- Engage in more productive and effective study and learning behaviors.
- Manage your time more effectively.
- Achieve your goal of earning a Clemson University degree.
Whether you're struggling to keep up in a class or to understand a particular topic, the ASC can connect you with professional academic coaching and peer learning leaders who can support you every step of the way. They can help you define what success means to you and how you can get there during your time at Clemson. The ASC offers workshops and other resources online to support your specific learning needs.
Success happens at the Center!
Operating hours: Monday-Friday, 7:30 a.m. - 10 p.m.; Saturday, Closed; Sunday, Noon - 10 p.m.
ASC Inclusion Statement
The Academic Success Center exists to empower every student to discover and cultivate their potential for learning and success at Clemson. Celebrating and honoring the diversity of our students, faculty and staff is at the core of empowering success and a sense of belonging. The diversity of our Clemson community comes in many forms, but inclusion comes in only one: when each member of our community experiences a real sense of belonging.
For all undergraduate students, we, the ASC staff, are committed to creating a welcoming and inclusive experience at the Center. We affirm that our goal of creating and delivering welcoming and inclusive student learning experiences at the Center requires our active and ongoing commitment to listening to the needs of our students and learning through engagement in professional development opportunities. We strive for continuous improvement to meet the learning needs of the students we serve.
